Burnout ParadiseWith the Criterion developed Need For Speed now fully out the garage, it's only natural that the Guildford-based developers move onto their next project. What's that? They make Burnout? Well, thanks to a posting on the Australian Classification Board's website, it appears that their much loved franchise could be making a return under the moniker, Burnout Crash. The only contentious aspect of the Australian Classification Board's post is the date it was added - April 1st... but somehow though I find it hard to believe that they're the type of organisation to embrace the April Fool's day tomfoolery. Can you see what April Fool's has done to us all!? There is also corroborating evidence over on the business networking site, LinkedIn, though - which has since been removed - which states that Software Engineer, Juan José Galera Pérez, was also working on the PS3 and Xbox 360 title. Considering that crashing is the name of the game in Burnout - it's not technically, but it's a franchise that's relied on big crashes since its inception - Burnout Crash sounds about right. Obviously though, that's only speculation and last week I speculated that it'd rain blood... it didn't.
