Kingdoms of Amalur: Reckoning wird unter der Führung von Ken Rolston, dem Lead Designer der hochgelobten Rollenspiele Elder Scrolls III: Morrowind und Elder Scrolls IV: Oblivion, entwickelt. Im Herbst 2011 schickt das Einzelspieler-Rollenspiel die Spieler auf eine heroische Reise, um die Geheimnisse der magischen Welt Amalur zu enthüllen.
