The 'short' URLs we have to link to our profiles are okay, but in my personal opinion, not really ideal.
For example, my profile URL is: http://ps3heroes.com/hero/Paranoimia
That's 36 characters, or 29 without the 'http://' part.
My 'short' URL is: http://ps3heroes.com/h/MjU3OTM
That's 30/23 characters.
But in my personal opinion, the ideal solution would be: http://ps3heroes.com/Paranoimia
Okay, at 32/25 characters, and is very slightly longer than the 'short' URL, but to be honest, it's easier to remember than a short URL, and also preferable to having anything between 'ps3heroes.com' and the PSN ID.
I appreciate that the short URL may offer a better option for those with PSN IDs longer than my own, but would it be possible to have the option of just 'ps3heroes.com/PSNID for those that wish to use it?
It would also be more in line with other social gaming sites, such as Raptr, Playfire... or even Twitter.

I see your point, but PS3Heroes already has some URLs that would conflict with actual PSN-IDs. For instance the URL http://ps3heroes.com/move or http://ps3heroes.com/leaderboard. "move" and "leaderboard" are just two examples of PSN-IDs out there that would not work with such a short URL.
Another solution would be to use eg. http://ps3hero.es/dirk_olbertz for this purpose. But I thought about having something like a premium account for PS3Heroes, where such a short url would be included. I still am not finished with that thought, but when I would use the ps3hero.es domain right now, I could not include this to the premium service :-)

Ah, I see... yes, that would be a problem!
Oh well, just a thought.
Those are some strange IDs to use, though...
